Indigenous HealthIndigenous Health

Pioneer is proud to provide regular indigenous health clinics. These clinics are "open access" which means that no appointment is necessary and are bulk billed. Patients can just come to the clinic and will be seen in the order that they arrive. An Aboriginal Health worker is available at each clinic to provide health checks and assist with issues around cultural safety for patients. Pioneer doctors also work closely with Great Southern Aboriginal Health service (GSAH) to ensure that indigenous patients have access to the full range of services at GSAH. These include Aboriginal Health workers, diabetic educators, podiatry, diabetic eye screening, immunisations, Antenatal care midwives and dieticians. Indigenous patients are also welcome to book appointments at other times though our usual process.
